Only 5 months after commencing the groundwork, the 1600T diecasting cell is now fully commissioned and has manufactured the first components for JH Lavender’s new customer.

JH Lavender undertake an existing pressure diecasting and CNC machining transfer for Pall the global technology leader in filtration, separation and purification industries. JH Lavender’s internal engineering capabilities ensure the 700T pressure die and machining fixtures adaption are completed in line with their new customer’s compacted project lead-time requirement.

JH Lavender completes its 1st shipment of zinc diecastings to one of its aluminum customers. Zinc component supply is a fully managed service offered by JH Lavender, to both existing and new customers alike. This service benefits our customers by reducing their supply base and point of contact allowing them to focus on other core activities.

JH Lavender commence Tier1 supply of a machined pressure die-cast filter bowls. The machining will be undertaken on JHL’s Mori Seiki AL2 CNC turning centre, and will enable our new customer to concentrate purely on the assembly of the oil filter housings due to rapidly increasing demand levels from their customer International Trucks, Indianapolis.

JH Lavender receive nomination to commence two new gravity projects manufacturing diesel fuel injection pumps. A very tight project lead time is required to deliver this project to the customer’s expectations, to aid this and reduce the development time extensive Magmasoft simulations have been completed and the optimum gravity die design selected to target right first time manufacture.

JH Lavender secures new business for the production of Perkins 4Cylinder oil pan components. This project will be manufactured as a fully automatic process on our new 1600 ton machine.
